Your licence
Buying Shotbar gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use it on any Mac you own or control. A licence is per person, not per machine. If you are buying for a team, buy one licence per person.
What you may not do
- Redistribute, resell or sublicense the app or a licence key.
- Share a key publicly, or use one you did not pay for.
- Reverse engineer the app except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
Updates
Your licence includes all updates within the major version you bought. A future major version may be a paid upgrade; if it is, we will say so before you pay, and the version you own keeps working.
Refunds
Full refund within 30 days of purchase, no justification needed. See refunds.
Warranty
Shotbar is provided as is. We work hard to make it correct, and we describe its behaviour on this site as accurately as we can, but we cannot promise it is free of defects or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything that matters.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of Shotbar is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data or lost profit. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
Your content
Screenshots and recordings you make with Shotbar are yours. We never receive them, and we claim no rights over them. You are responsible for having the right to capture what you capture, and for complying with any recording-consent laws that apply where you are.
Ending the licence
If you breach these terms, the licence ends. You may stop using Shotbar at any time by deleting it.
Changes
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top. Changes apply to purchases made after the change; the terms you bought under continue to govern your existing licence.
